Timed exclusivity is big part of what MS does. Most of their recent announcements is about getting games or DLC first for their platform.

I'm surprised Microsoft didn't release the date yet. Maybe they are waiting to see what Sony does.

Guess they are learning from the mistakes and back-tracking they had to do earlier. If they announced a release date that is 2-3 weeks after the PS4, it will just give people more ammo.
Hopefully Sony sticks to their plan and announces their date
