yeah, someone stole my DeathClaw weapon off a shelf.
If you leave a better weapon out than what they have, they will pick it up.
I'm surprised that it took over 100+ hours for them to hop into my Power Armor.
8 sets have been sitting out front of my home in Sanctuary and they never touched it until last week.
I'm thinking they might only grab it, if it is a high level attack and maybe Sanctuary was just lucky and that was the first High Level attack.

Settlements should give a bit of a better boost & settler management should have SOME kind of interface to see what EVERYONE is doing and their equipment.
Yeah. It's nearly impossible to keep track of all of your assigned crap in big settlements.

Attacks on settlements need a better messaging system and settlers need to be able to WIN without you if you have defenses built up and settlers heavily armed. You should get a message stating The Settlement WON the battle, not you failed to defend.
Agreed
Also, one more thing:
The building system is very clunky at times. It's sometimes stupid hard to put things where you want them because of the snapping, or it won't snap the way you need it to (even though it should). All they need to do to remedy that is to give you a button to disable snapping while the button is held down.

All of my gripes are minor, but settlement benefits and settlement management need work and could have been much better.
Yep.
The settlement aspect is very fun but it should be more rewarding, too.

How is Bethesda with patching/fixing games? Are they like most companies who dont give a shite once its released?
Posted on 12/22/15 at 4:30 pm to J Murdah
They patch but don't expect it in a hurry, they are slow to fix things but I think it's because they compile a list and then do big patches rather than a bunch of small ones.

Just got to the Institute last night. Interesting twist of things.

i notice people talking about "supply lines" between settlements, can someone explain that in more detail? is there a way to move junk, etc from settlement to settlement without physically doing it yourself?
Also, has anyone noticed the damage identifier for some weapons seems to be out of whack at times? Example: I have several .44s, laser rifles, all types of guns with higher damage ratings than this 10mm I got from a mission(it's the "Deliverer") and only has a damage rating of 37 after adding some mods. I swear though, this thing does more damage it seems like than my .44s, which are generally in the 70s in damage.
This pistol doesn't do double damage or anything, it's only specialty has to do with VATS. Are the damage ratings for some guns messed up?

Kind of surprised it hasn't been spoiled for you already

I've tried my best to stay away from this thread and any other place that could possibly contain spoilers. Now I'm torn between factions.

I just made it to the institute and finished meeting all the doctors. Can I play both sides for a while? I'm not sure who to believe.

I think you're a bit further than me, but it supposedly tells you when you get to a point of no return.

You can play all the sides for an uncomfortable amount of time. It really breaks down the entire narrative.

Okay. I haven't done and BOS missions except the very first one, probably going to do those for a while and put the railroad and institute on hold.

A million hours in and I am still stumbling on areas I haven't seen before.
Forgot all about that Ship I spotted when flying in the vertibird.
So tonight I finally stumbled on The US Constitution.
No way I could go against a Sentrybot wearing an Admirals hat.

Check the charisma perks. One allows you to link settlements. Once linked you can share supplies in the workshops.
Once you have the perk, open the build mode and click on a settler. One of the options will be set supply line.

That was a tedious, yet hilarious quest

So.
I've been playing all the factions a little until I talked to the head of the Institute a little too much and decided he needed a bullet. So, I killed him and unleashed the nerd fury.
Naturally I escaped and informed the BOS. I then started the Minutemen battle for the Castle and holy shite..
That was the most intense and long battle I've had in a video game in a while. Lucky me, I started it at night too so I couldnt see shite.
This game is going to ruin me.
