Decided to take some power armor out for a spin for the first time. Went to Warwick and atom cats
Encountered a Lvl 42 super mutant master, legendary super mutant skirmisher and all their goons. I'm only Lvl 28. Killed them. Am now addicted to psychobuff
Got brave and went inside..found Big Mack , Lvl 59 super mutant with a never ending minigun. Wtf. I ran away.
Seems like as soon as I put the power armor on..shite got real quick. That was my oldest quest so I figured it'd be easy..nah
Damn fusion cores seem to run out quick.
Up to the storyline quest called the Glowing Sea.

I hardly ever use the power armor. Takes so much damn aluminum to fix it! I'm scouring the wasteland for aluminum cans and TV dinner trays.
I did pick up Tessa's fist, which quadruples durability so I may use it some more. I have about 50 fusion cores

I don't really care for the UI while in it.
And yeah, so expensive to repair.
I'm finding vendors selling things for over 10k caps now. Like the robot in goodneighbor. Sheesh.
Also I set up supply lines but didn't give my provisioners guns or armor. Are they going to get murkt? Will them getting murkt affect my bottom line?

I've been arming and armoring my provisioners pretty heavily. Legendary weapons. Missile launchers. Combat rifles. Plus all the upgraded combat armor I can find. But that's all my settlers really.
Haven't had a big attack in a while.

I just spent six hours building a badass three story base in sanctuary. Put in a missle befense system looking down on ungaurded spaces. It's chill. Pool tables, bar, jukebox, mounted heads from the wasteland animals.
Yeah. I'm a nerd.
ETA: They are really going to finally make the Dark Tower movies. Lots of buzz. I hear the script is killer if u like the books...and I know u do.

After every single fast travel, I check the GD misc quest to make sure I don't miss an attack....BUT...
Missed an attack on Red Rocket. Frackers damaged every generator and every turret. Cost me a fracking fortune to put everything right again.
I don't buy for a second that an attack would win with all of those turrets (Def 220). In another settlement, some lone moron tried to attack and 20 turrets along with 19 settlers all started shooting at the guy.
I had the perfect vantage point and it was insane the amount of lead headed at that guy.
Used up all my damn adhesive maxing everyones weapon in Red Rocket. Now they should be able to stop any attack or I really am calling BS on the defense scripting.

I can't get into the building aspect of the game, which is strange considering I love games like The Sims and Sim City.

Well ain't this some shite. Sanctuary Hills got attacked. So I defend it. Few gunners. Then I go to fix my power armor. Had an extra suit, couldn't find it.
Rang the bell, no one in power armor shows up.
Go to where it was...and Marcy Long just looked...weird.
Talked to her, told her to get out of the now invisible power armor, but she won't.
Any ideas?

I use it mainly for the extra 100+ weight.
I hate it. The viewable field sucks at night in buildings. Outside, it is fine. Inside it sucks.
Even at high level, there are a few spots I wouldn't have survived if I wasn't wearing it.
Last couple of days, I left it at home and WOW, I forgot how much faster you move without it.

My character is pure sneak. All I do is sneak around and shoot with silenced weapons. Needless to say, missions take a while. lol

Well, she doesn't look like slenderman anymore, but I can't find an upgraded suit of X-01 power armor either.
