I believe people saying, “ oh what you really need to do is just learn to shift your line around bro” must be playing on AA or varsity because on heisman it doesn’t matter what the frick I do, if the dline decides too, it’s whipping my lines arse. Shifting the line around doesn’t help, double teaming doesn’t help, if the line can block them they block them regardless. The oline shifting just seems like window dressing for the game. The best way I’ve found to win on heisman against cpu still seems to be recruit a 94+ speed qb which there are plenty of if you only recruit athletes, roll out like on the old games and out run d ends. Wait for a guy to come open up n the flats or deep cross audible or take off and run with your 4.37 qb.
A big key on passing is staying in pocket vs dropping to deep or just running out of the pocket

Don’t play on Heisman. EA changed their difficulty settings years ago to increase each level by one difficulty, so if you use to play on Heisman back in the day, then you play on All-American today. I can’t remember what year they made the change with Madden but the same thing is true there, if you use to play on All-Madden years ago, then you play on All-Pro now. That’s their competition difficulty level.
From what I’ve heard their 4 level of difficulties basically break down to this:
1. Huge advantage to user
2. Moderate advantage to user
3. Even
4. Moderate to huge advantage to CPU.
Always, tweak your sliders and if shite goes sideways, just restart your matchup.

Well, I figured out why I was struggling recruiting. I didn't realize you could remove actions so I was rolling with whatever I first picked when I was still figuring everything out.

My first year in dynasty (Bama). Played Arkansas in the SEC title game
The CFP consisted of Oregon, Bama, Ohio St., Penn St, Arizona, Utah, Cincy, SMU (3 seed), Miami. Louisville, and a couple of other mid range schools

First year of dynasty on AA with UT I won the Natty, only lost 1 game. One of the two I simmed, against Vanderbilt
Bru McCoy finished 3rd in the Heisman and won the Biletnikoff, had like 15-18 TDs or something.
James Pearce Jr. won the Heisman and pretty much all the defensive awards with a 30 sack season.
AA is too easy for me but Heisman is just too cheese. I win almost every game on Heisman too, but the CPU QBs only throw like 2-3 incompletions all game on Heisman and you can't get any pressure from your DL or avoid pressure from theirs. Will be glad when some good sim slider sets come out.

Christ dude, why don’t yo stop being so hard headed and just drop the difficulty down a little bit??
One thing I’ve noticed about this game that I like, is this is the first football game I can remember that you have to be good in the pocket. I love the way the game feels when you drop back, and either have to step up because the DEs come flying up the field, or shuffle to the side to avoid the defensive tackle.
It’s a really under appreciated feature of this game

quote:what if the DEs come flying up field and the d tackle is flying in? I can still drop 60 or more on the cpu on heisman I just struggle even getting a pass off if it’s a slow developing route. Everything is quick pass and run. Although it could be because I’m normally playing with lower caliber teams so it makes sense. I’ll see what it’s like after I get 90ovr across the board

Have y’all noticed that whenever someone with the football gets hit hard, some other random person on the field gets injured?? Or is that just me

The frickery is real on this game lol.
The CPU seems to ALWAYS hit the big play when it needs it

my running backs tend to only get injured when they are blocking. never when they tote the rock and get lit up.

Per youtube to deadleg you have to flick the right stick down and let go of all other buttons. So u cant hold down the right trigger and flick down it wont work. Flick down stick must be the only use on the controller

Tbh what the guy said about pocket game is true to my experience. Idk what team you use, or the quality of linemen on that team. For example in my dynasty i was run heavy so all my o line was power archetype. When i went to throw i only had few seconds.
However in road to cfp passing in the pocket def helps me throw more successfully.

I figured out today on accident, that if you are on the playcall screen, and the play clock is running low, if you click the left stick to go to super sim, then B to go back to the game, you’ll get a fresh play clock
Thanks for the tip. It's almost impossible trying to set formation subs during a game because you can only do it there and time always runs out. I think that's the #1 irritating thing now, like why on earth is it not in team menu on dynasty.
