Geez!
Per that article they not only cut out from time to time but sometimes when removed, they can actually have a negative net effect. Yikes.
Some don't even work at all.

Damn that Artie doesn't paint a good picture for rings.

On normal and hard, I don't think it matters but on nightmare, all of those bonuses are needed.
Wonder if other equipment bonuses are broken or if it is just rings.

How do you guys manage ring and amulet inventory? It takes up 2/3 of my space but I never want to sell them because I never know when I may use one.

I sell them. When I get new items I run through my party in Haven/ Skyhold and equip the best items then sell the rest.
I don't do requisitions so I sell valuables after dropping off the gold items with the monster/ learning chick.

When I would get a new item, I would go through all characters. If it was an upgrade for someone, I changed it out, if not I sold it. That way I always had 20 rings available or 10 of any other particular item.

I guess Skyrim turned me into a hoarder. Every inventory decision is excruciating for me
I usually only have a couple hours to play at a time and I spend most of it in Skyhold's undercroft equipping my characters and figuring out my inventory. Crafting takes forever because I never want to use any of my resources.

Can someone please tell me what to do with my gold? So far it seems like all of the stores sell nothing but crappy goods. Any tips?

Pretty much yeah.
Weapon and armor schematics. Hissing Wastes merchant in the canyon has some of the best stuff.

Once you have Skyhold, you can buy influence to get perks a bit faster.
Also as already stated, Hissing Waste Merchant and Emprise Keep Merchants for schematics.
The best items are crafted not bought. Plus the store items seem way too step.
Bastards overcharge for blue and purple items while at the same time offering me 5gp for a crafted items with god powers compared to their crappy gear.

This was the thing that irritated me most. I could have sold the components of the items for 3-4x what I sold the finished product for. I just assume they were racist against dwarves.

i did. working a lot and i never have the energy to start when im at home. i dont want to half arse it after working 12 hours.

after the first hour and a half or so, i didnt think this game was for me. hold RT to attack, no dodge or block, i was never gonna use tac cam, etc... the scale was also pretty intimidating (i would start a quest, and while doing it, i would pick up 8 other quests)
now that Ive got the mechanics down as well as some new skills nad equipment, im loving it. quests are very elder scrolls-y (no substance) but at least theyre short and to the point. every quest where ive had to find somebody, they've been dead

The Hinterlands is a tutorial area. If you are on normal there are only a couple spots that will give you a challenge. One spot you can't do yet. You get murdered over and over trying.
Once you move out of the Hinterlands, some of the quests will tie more into the main story or your party.
You need to talk to your party at the home base to open up the story and companion quests.

Switched my party up since I couldn't survive the Haven quest or finish the Fallow Mire.
Dropped a shield tank, added bull and gave him some good spirit gear.
Was able to finish the Mire after a few attempts. This time, I didn't have much of a problem with Haven. Bull really helped out dishing out the DPS.
One nice tip.
Don't take everything from the locked door chest in Redcliff.
If you leave one item, you can travel to Haven /skyhold and back for an endless supply of fade touched obsidian.
