from what i've gathered from youtube channels and people among the internet, a sorc is the character you want to start with from the beginning. new or old players.

the sorc is easiest because skills always hit, do lots of damage, can be done from range, and you can teleport around.
melee requires better gear. you need +attack rating, +enhanced damage, life leach, mana leach, crushing blow/open wounds, and enough tank stats to survive being in melee range.
then if you are using a 2handed weapon, it better be amazing, to offset the loss of shield functionality and stats.

Baws ive hit a dry spell. Havent found anything worth trading really. Or possibly ive just hit a dry spell trading lol. I jus threw on the ground natalya helm armor and boots, trang armor, sigon set, waterwalks and more because imtired of trying to get anything for them. There is only about 15-20 items that have value really. I had a good loop of pindle, meph, tunnels, Andy rinse and repeat. So far my best drops have been from tunnels with a Ber rune and Tal Armor but it gets old and takes longer when I get freaking poisoned.
I shifted to running countess only. Ran 2 hours straight with only 2 lem runes and 2 keys. Hoping to turn the corner and get some nicer runes soon. I need a LO to make a grief phase blade for pally.

i hit a wall with my summon necro and started leveling sorc/barb this week. i kept getting kicked last night, but managed to get my sorc to a5 normal. need to get to 25 to do ancients now.

My sorc is 86 or 87, my pally is 35. I still need to level my wind druid too lol. Good thing is that my pally and druid are over geared for early levels since ive stacked the low level uniques ive found that are uselful for them in thier stashes lol. Just gotta get to level to use them. Have HOZ ready ready for my pally just cant seem to not play my sorc and find gear
