Yep, KingGothalion's group got it. Versusthestream nearly got it like 15 mins ago wiping at less than 1%. Been watching the raid since I got off work looks pretty incredible.

For real. What made it even worse was that Bungie tweeted like five minutes before they wiped that they were getting close. Goth and them did pretty much immediately give credit to them, because the versus guys had already figured out some mechanic that changes late in the fight that helped Goth's crew. A viewer in Gunny or Rebelize's chat must have told them, because there was no way Goth, Broman, or probably even Tearex were able to read anything their chat said. Goth got up to 60K.

I used to keep all legendary items but I've been breaking them down in ttk. They definitely devalued them which isn't a bad thing since a lot of them were better than exotics

I'm really liking the weapon system now. I love how you can keep upgrading the same weapon over and over.
I'm actually jealous of the folks who are brand new and get to have the "questification" aspect. It's basically a whole new game.

I love that more quests keep popping up. There really is a lot of content. Legendary marks are easy to get too so there is no real hesitation to fuse a weapon I like.

I hate it. You could ascend the old legendaries so it just makes it to where you have to keep upgrading. You have to wait to get a higher one or you're screwed. You are stuck with the perks. I miss reforge.

The new way is better in all aspects in my opinion.
It is easy enough to upgrade weapons or armor. Just do some strikes, the blues you get can be pretty high level, 290 and higher. Just upgrade your legendary gear with them. (drops lvls increase depending on your light level)
As for reforge, that needed to go. Every single person having the same weapon and perks was ridiculous.

Yeah I definitely don't mind it. The one thing I think that it helps and that I've used it for is that if you like a piece of armor for it's cosmetic value then it's made it to where you don't have to leave it behind. Something that was definitely annoying in Year one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you could only ascend Legendary gear, right?
In TTK you if you like some rare (blue) armor for some reason over everything else you can continue to infuse it and make it like a 299 chest piece.
