Do you have the pyro glove? The Crest shield you get from Oscar will reduce the Stray Demon's magic spam.

Yeah I had on full sorcerers gear and the crest shield. Only tried twice and decided ill just come back later.
I do have a pyro glove but my build is str dex vit and end.
Gonna up my halberd to +10 at andre and hit up the basin.

There was a glitch way of killing the Stray Demon at one point. Not sure if it was ever patched.

Blighttown is aggravating, but I think it's a well-designed area; Lost Izalith takes the cake for the laziest design in the game. It's topped off with one of the worst boss designs I've ever seen.

Oh how the Bed of Chaos is hated. 
I actually didn't mind Blighttown because it was topped with one of the coolest bosses of the game. Well, the boss made up for it.
Plus, once you kill the blowdart guys, they don't come back which is good.

I see Dark Trolls is already back in full force. I saw at least a dozen blood stains from people jumping off the cliff at the very beginning trying to get the morning star. One message said "jumping off...". You see the character just flying off the cliff
