i suggest playing the campaign to get used to the feel of the controller and flow for the game. it's short... maybe 4 hours? probably less.

Make sure to get the dot in the center of the screen at all times. You should be doing big movements with your left and micro adjustments with right. The exception is a quick turn around.

Make sure to lower the deadzones in your controller settings. I’d suggest looking it up on YouTube. That makes a very large difference as the default is always too high.

Recoil management is simply pulling down while aiming. There are harder recoil patterns (like bouncing left and right) but in general just pull down a very little bit

So big movements with left stick but that only moves you forward/backwards and slides, right? The right stick is for looking left, looking up, right and down? THAT is my problem. When I turn to shoot, my right stick f's me up completely. Any way to fix that besides practice?

Practice is really the only answer. Also try out the different aim assist modes. There is usually one for players "new to gaming." Try not to push the right joystick all the way to the extremes whenever aiming, but rather slightly move the stick to try and track enemies. That was my problem when I was on controller, I'd move the stick way too far left or right, my crosshairs went past the enemy, then I'd have to push the joystick back to get on target.

Also lowering your sensitivity at first can help you while getting used to it. Start at probably 3, then as you get more used to aiming, move it up to 4, then to 5, etc. until you find the best sensitivity for you.

Ok so I bought Vanguard COD yesterday and played a good bit. It came with the campaign, and zombie plus multiplayer (kind of like warzone?)

The only zombie play I see is the one from the install. Where do I get the Shi No Numa map?

Also, in another post, I stated that I downloaded the free COD MW III from Microsoft and it came with a bunch of different warzones. Now that I've purchased Vanguard, will there be more to access on the free download? Or is the download simply MW III, MW II?

Bought cod last night. First time I've played in a few years and mannnnn am I dogshit lmao.

Treyarch has had what 3-4 years to work on this upcoming 2024 title? they frick this pooch and the CoD franchise is all but done.
