i haven't bought a battlepass since maybe season 3 or 4 of MW2019.
eta: correction, i might've bought a few during BOCW to get some of those sweet vehicle music tracks.

I could be wrong, haven't played in a few weeks, but I saw advertised what I THOUGHT was the season pass and was used to them being around $10 from games like Destiny and was immediately over the idea when I saw $40.

That's promising as no way resurgence works with the low ttk. Even the no running while plating is going to be a mess on resurgence.

What if they pump out Verdansk as the BR map for season 2?
This game has gotten stale, FAST. The only issue I had with pre-caldera MW, outside of the massive cheating issue, was no FOV slider on console. That's it. If I had the graphics and FOV of WZ2 on OG Warzone, I'd go back in an instant. The gulag, looting system, loadout drops, TURNING OFF CROSS PLAY AS A GAME SETTING, all of it id rather have back now that we are a few months in.
And the battle pass for season 1 was a joke. I had that shite finished what feels like months and months ago.
Let's hope for a better future

in MW2019 if you purchased a battle pass and completed it, you has enough COD tokens to get the next battle pass for free.
So Finch, that’s why i purchased Season 1. I guess at this point, it shouldn’t be surprising that this specific Dev Team took that ability to pay for your next season battle pass away from players.

I also don’t see how what they are calling “Ranked” is going to work, because I doubt they lower the aggressiveness of SBMM. Good players will have the option to be in super sweaty lobbies or in super sweaty lobbies where you also have a meaningless rank.

you still get COD points that can be used to buy store content, but the Battle Passes going forward will cost USD. That is my understanding.
