Axe also has a two-handed L2 that's good for mobs.

Stating to get the hang of it now. Got the first set of Hunter gear. Learning to effectively dodge and then strike to get your health back is key. I actually made it to the priest one time and I got him down to about 40% before running out of health regens and he got me. Pretty impressed with myself. I found the bridge with the big wolf boss so focusing on that right now.
Finally got my first upgrades. Decided to focus on improving rather than just keep going for the bosses.

My Orgin is violent past and I havent really used the two handed version of the axe that much because it slows the already slow axe down even more and I always end up getting merked by mobs.
that said, I'll play with it more for sure.
I always get passed the areas I get killed at, then something catches me off guard and owns me
just gotta get through this first part and I feel the game will be very rewarding.

Finally got to play some today and that a-hole on the chaingun in Old Yarhnam raped me.

You can also stagger enemies with molotov's. They do a decent amount of damage + the stagger opens them up for big hits.

Haha... I know I know . I have worked my way past the large mass of enemies around the campfire and past the demon banging on the big door. Once I get to a bridge these two four legged demons kick my arse. I can bypass and eventually drop down into some sewer type area but I got my arse kicked there. I will say that I got my arse kicked less, so I think I will go that way.
