Played for a little over an hour and not very happy so far. Graphics look like shite, the airplanes suck compared to BF1 and I hate the bleed out thing. Only thing I like is the STG-44 is a beast. So far I much prefer BF1 and I’m glad I didn’t pre order.

You can click to hold a revive feature when you are downed and wait for a medic if one is close, or you click and hold the other mouse button and it “gives up” like you did in other battlefield games. Just a different spin on the same feature.

Yea I guess the actual override of the revive isn’t much different but it takes way longer to be able to respawn in BFV vs previous battlefield games.

It’s a beta. They can tweak that easy as pie. I’m loving it. The only thing hat grinds my gears is the lack of a good suppressive LMG with a large magazine.
These 30 rd mags aren’t cutting it. Gimme a mg34/42 with a box mannnnnnnnn

This game fricking sucks. Dumbed down so much its insane.
Only 35 guns at launch? BF4 had 80. Why do I have to leave the game to uograde shite and the upgrades are dumb as frick.

I didn't have a good experience with the beta. Gonna give the full game a shot though because it should be on sale pretty quickly.

I really liked it.
For a beta it was fun. If the full game launched as it was but with all the maps and guns, would I pay $60? Nah. There’s still polishing to do.
As I’ve maintained in this thread though, I love the direction battlefield is going. It’s not COD game. I loved BF3 and BF4 but not every battlefield has to feel like that. BF1 is basically a grenade spam fest. Who’d have thought WW1 was a slow grind consisting of gorilla warfare going from trench to trench, never gaining any real ground?

I was out of town so only got to play for one day, but there were some serious issues that I ran into. Players mixing with the environment so you could barely see anyone, which has to get changed to make this game work as intended. Sound was a major issue, I'd be walking along, not see or hear anyone, but die instantly getting shot from three different directions.
I was sniping at one point and this guy popped up out of nowhere, I shot him square in the chest from 10 feet away ADS and didn't even get a hit marker and then he killed me instantly. Not sure if that's something they can fix with just an extra month to work on things. It's reminding me of the disastrous BF4 release.
