Breakthrough you have to capture both points at same time to advance.
Rush you can take one at a time.
At least that's what I think I remember. Only difference I believe.

In Breakthrough, defenders can re-take the objectives. In rush you plant bombs and once it goes thats it. Also from what I understand the player limit is 32 on Rush so its less chaotic which is what a lot of people have been complaining about with 128 player Breakthrough.

I think my favorite thing to do so far in this game is planting mines lol. So much fun since vehicles are everywhere

I jumped back in last night first time since the big patch.
We had a lot of fun and didn't experience any bugs.
Looks like the game is coming into its own.

over a month since the last post? has TD given up on this game? bought it for $25 back in december and just traded it in for $18 at gamestop. how does a game release without in game chat?

I played my arse off since early release for like a month straight. Got up to level 80 or so and then just quit cold turkey.
It got old—fast.

Yeah, hard for FPS's to hold peoples attention for long anymore too. People jump from game to game so fast most games in a month are dead. CoD, BF, Halo all a month later and half the player base is gone.

I agree that its much more playable now.
I still feel jipped on limited content. Limited gun options, running many km with little to no cover, and where did all of the destruction go?

Redownloaded BF1 the other day and it is so much better in every single way. Level design, weapons, sound, vehicles. And the single best game mode battlefield ever dropped, operations.

It really is. I’ve gone to bat over the years defending Battlefield franchise as THE fps.
Bad Company 2, bf3, bf 4, bf1, bfv…. All better than COD in my opinon.

Sure, but why did halo and CoD lose over half their player base in a couple months too? Like I said, FPS just don't hold peoples attention for long anymore. Couple months max and you're bored.
People loved halo and it died so fast. CoD sure you knew that as it happens every year.

game is not salvageable, too many terrible design decisions by the managers/devs
