I don't play much support. The LMG's need some reworking. Low power combined with low rate of fire is a bad recipe. Most ppl don't stay alive long enough to need an ammo restock.

False. Nobody likes the support class until they neeeeeed ammo and hunt down the one support class on the entire team.

Eh, I think it is more about finding the gun that works for you. I'm liking the BAR so far. It hits hard up close.

I continuously throw down ammo
I must be weird for liking the support class the best. It definitely is not the most sexy class, but you can be very effective if you know what you're doing. I've barely touched any other class in BF1

Just a hint, if you're support and you see me laying down directly in front of you, shooting you in the face, with an ammo icon over my head, I need ammo. I would have thought that was obvious, but I was terribly mistaken.

I think some people run mortar/limpet and just don't have any ammo to give. Only reason for ignoring the people REQUESTING AMMO IN YOU FACE

I use my pistol. If I don't get ammo for my rifle, i'm a dead man anyways.

Plus, isn't there an icon or something that shows up over the player? No icon means he isn't carrying an ammo pack, unless I'm mistaken

I mean, it shows what class they are, but that's about it. Doesn't show if they are running ammo pack or not.

Short of the entire screen blinking a message that says "NEARBY TEAMMATE NEEDS AMMO" or "WIZARD NEEDS FOOD BADLY", I'm just going to continue to expect that requests for ammo or health to be ignored.

I just don't understand it. You have a bag the literally gives you life. Why in the world would you not pop that sucker down wherever you are at that moment?

I just started using the ammo bag today. I had been rocking the Repair tool/Mortar.
