Nintendo doesn't have anything near the draw or relevancy as PSX. It's had numerous new games announced every year.
I just am not a fan of their Directs. Especially when they treat them all equally. No one cares that they announced Pokken port to Switch. Why the hell have a direct just to announce that.

Didn't watch a lot of the Sony presentation I just found out this morning that Horizon ZD is getting an expansion, so I have that to look forward to and I will probably try Days Gone once the XIM4 has a profile for it.

Sony press conference showed a lot of good upcoming games. The reason everyone is let down is because most are late 2018 and we already knew about them.

This and for the games I play this year has been a big let down.
Wildlands said play the way you want and half way through the game almost all missions require the used of stealth.
Andromeda - Wasn't bad but not nearly the game 1-3 were.
Prey was ok but got to tedious and I quit playing.

I don't like a lot of the types of games that make this year good for others. I don't like Asian style artwork and play, I don't do side scrolling games, I don't do sports games, etc., I also don't play anything that is controller required so that leaves out handhelds.
I know a lot of it is my taste in games combined with shitty execution from the devs recently, but I don't ever remember struggling to find something to play for this long (since games went digital.)
