Because unlike Microsoft and Nintendo they have another event that is just for them. Why play all your cards in one day? Also for years now E3 has had a dwindling presence.

Destiny 2 PC release is almost two months after the Console release, they decided to release for PC in Oct when when a ton of other games are releasing, dumbass move on their part.

They don't give a damn, most of the sales will be on PS4 and Xbox One.

It's an afterthought, it will still sell but why worry about it as much will you will sell the lions share on consoles.

My guess is a trailer of a bunch of games we've seen already like Xenoblade, Odyssey, Payday 2, etc.
If I know Nintendo:
No VC Announcement - No Mario Sunshine
No Metroid
No Smash
No Animal Crossing
No F-Zero
We get a lame Kirby Switch Game, a new view of the Kingdom Battle thing. A rehash of Odyssey footage, Xenoblade, that Project Mekuru game for West release.....maybe the Sonic stuff...annndddd....that's it. Or they'll hype ARMS, a game releasing on Friday
I predict maybe one "big" announcement that will be what nobody wants or expects....We all want Metroid, Smash, AC.....they give us "Kirby Superstar Switch Saga!"
We'll be nintendo'd for sure.

They do their own event a few weeks before TGS, and have started doing Nintendo directs throughout the year recently. (think switch reveal)
It's cheaper for them, and their message isn't lost in the white noise

I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good game, but E3 is for like big hype stuff - Metroid, new DK, etc. Kirby isn't earth shattering, nor is it one of the properties that people have been clamoring years for.
