The scalebound demo wasn't very good, similar issue as ff had. No idea if it is indicative of the actual game.

Notice they harped on 6 teraflops. No doubt they did that once they knew PS4 Neo was locked in at 4.5 teraflops.

Everyone I've seen liked their pitch. The old is not obsolete, they made it clear they are not being left behind.

To some extent they are or there wouldn't be a need for bringing a new system to the market, but I guess it means new games will be available on both. The console market is starting to sound more and more like the PC market.

Scorpio seems solid. 60hz tho ehh. Overall conference was okay. Sea of thieves and Halo wars 2 were only games I'm intrigued by

true but my snes still works. I guess Nintendo didn't leave me behind. I just thinks its a hard sell for the xb1 s. Why would I come off of cash in August when I can wait a year and get something MS just told me is the best?
Don't get me wrong, I love the option of being able to buy the best. I'm looking at it from a moving units perspective. Pricing will be interesting on this one.

The next year for the s will be interesting but Scorpio is expected by many to be a much higher price.

I thought it was a pretty good conference. Rapid fire of games, several demos, couple of hardware pieces, not a lot of gabbing. Yeah, some of it didn't apply to me (DGAF about the PC connectivity), but they didn't dwell on any one thing.
