I hate ordering components from NCIX. My case has been stuck at order processing since the 8th, but I've ordered a video card and sound card from newegg since that date and already received both.

To make it all better my h220 comes in Friday so I'll have everything except the case

Same here, always took a while to ship.

Idk of it has to do with us paying in USD.

I made 2 orders from ncix. One was quick and the other was slow. I found that no one processes and ships as quick as new egg.

i dont think so. not sure though.

nowadays do people still use proprietary versions of D5s or Dccs or are there newer pumps that set the standard. I have a lot to learn about WC and am trying to get an accurate understanding.

I went dual D5s in my loop. Old loop was a dcc. Idk but everyone is still using D5s really.

No you cant, but it supposedly works well with two video cards. That's according to Linus video from CES.

Linus also just put out a video comparing the 8350 to the 3570k

Edit: I had a d5 pump in my loop

Not if you do the free shipping though, their free shipping so slow but it's free so I always do it.

anyone who has ordered sleeving from mdpc, is 30m of small sleeving, single order 5m of sata sleeving, 100 pieces of precut 15mm small shrink, and 50 pieces precut medium shrink enough to sleeve a single 24 pin, single 8pin cpu cable, 4 8 pin pci cables, 4 fan cables, and 2 whole 4x molex cables? I plan to use the small to individually sleeve the 24 pin and all pci cables plus miscellaneous audio cables? I am going to use the medium for sata and usb cables. Just about right, too much, or not enough?

I didn't like the way he went about it. The tests favored the 8350 big time. Linus rode in on his unicorn that day.

He was just overselling it.

I would purchase an 8350 over 3570k.. For everyday use, just not for benching/gaming. You can clock that 3570k higher and CPU heavy games.. BF3 and source engine games all perform better on intel chips.

True but he did say the 3570k was better, just that he thinks there may be a shift coming towards AMD architecture.

eta: thanks puff

Some people are having a hard time accepting that the 8350 is such a strong chip. Not saying Coyote is but the general consensus on the internet is that no one wants to believe the benchmarks done by tons of different people and all with the same results.
