I was kind of shocked there wasn't a thread about this already. 25th anniversary of the N64.

They're also releasing Sega Genesis and N64 controllers for the Switch.

WinBack
Mario Tennis
Dr. Mario 64

Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
Mario Golf
Pokemon Snap
F-Zero X

I think Microsoft and Nintendo would need to come to some sort of agreement for this to happen.

Would be cool to see Goldeneye release for Game Pass and Nintendo Online.

Oh man that would be amazing.

Nintendo is adding online multiplayer to some of these N64 games, so that's not out of the realm of things that could be done.

I do doubt this would happen though.

Love some of these games.

What I wish would happen is them also reviving the Mario Golf Advance game in order to allow you to import your custom golfer.

Figuring out a way to do Pokémon Stadium without using the rental Pokémon would also be great.

But you have to buy these games or have a separate subscription from the $20 annual, right?

Looks like it is an add-on to an existing subscription called an “expansion pack”.

Wouldn't complain if OoT was the 3DS version.

Looks like they're going to increase the subscription price if you want the N64 and Genesis games. The amount of the increase hasn't been released yet. Might not be worth it.

How odd is it that sonic 2 is coming but not the original? Im of the opinion 2 is better but the original has the nostalgia selling point.

People are throwing a fit for Nintendo saying this service will cost more money than the online service they already provide. Which is only $20 PER YEAR.

Anyone that thinks they shouldn't charge more for this are just broke

Amount I am willing to pay depends on what is promised.

And from what I see, the list of N64 stuff alone being offered like Ocarina of Time and Mario Golf appeals to me.

The Genesis stuff would appeal more if I didn’t already gave the Sega cartridge with about 40 first party and second party games on it.

Edit- MUSHA is on there? Sold. Used to have that game and really wish I hadn’t sold it when I upgraded to PS1 stuff.

As long as it's not $200 or something crazy like that I'm down

Shouldn’t be simply because most games I am seeing are first party or are from third parties like Sega, Capcom, and Konami who have been licensing to the NES and SNES collections.

Or like me think what they offer for an online service barely warrants $20.

For me it just depends on how much more they want. If it's an additional $20, I'll probably pass.

If I could get this instead of the NES and SNES sub for $20, I'd probably switch.

It barely warrants $20 a year? How in the hell do you think it "barely" warrants that? The games they offer online would cost hundreds of dollars to own nowadays (legally).
