I feel the OoT reveal is probably their marquis piece of content. Upstaging it with the long awaited 3D Mario game the next day.........I'm not seeing it, but Nintendo does their own thing.

I would agree but seems like they need to get some momentum going even if it’s just a screen shot of 2027 with his hat or something

I saw a leak somewhere that they're planning on finishing the BOTW/TOTK as a trilogy and it's in the early stages, so maybe a tease about it to go along with the obvious movie and OOT remake.

I absolutely loved both of those games, but this would disappoint me. I don't know how you put the toothpaste back in the tube when it comes to open world, weapon degradation, etc., but I would hope they try something different for the next new game.

This would complete me.
My prediction for the Zelda direct:
1.) OOT details that it's a legitimate remaster with modern graphics, updated controls, QOL enhancements, and additional content. Will have a trailer containing gameplay
2.) Zelda Movie short teaser trailer
3.) Zelda themed Switch2 Pro controller
4.) Special edition Zelda themed Switch2 console
And thats it. I wouldn't put money on any mainline game announcement.

My expectations are low since this is Nintendo.

Things I would love to see.
Twilight Princess version playable on the Switch 2. It is the only mainline 3D Zelda game not playable on the system.
Really wish they had a Master mode and Trials for TOTK.
I am fine with a 3rd entry into BOTW/TOTK. I love the open world versions.

Would be cool if they put the OoT Master Quest that came with Windwaker on the N64 or Gamecube virtual console, but that's probably a pipe dream.
