Tears of the Kingdom was first announced in 2019, 2 years after BOTW, and released in 2023.
It's 2026, 3 years post-TOTK. Maybe new announcement...but I kinda doubt it. Games take forever now. But, I can hope I guess.

I have seen light rumors of Mario in development, that would be nuts. I mean, we have to be getting near a new Smash too.
This feels like one that will have a big Splatoon Raiders explanation, then have "one final trailer," my bet is OOT.

10 years between 3D Mario games is absolutely inexcusable.

That Direct was almost complete donkey shite minus the OOT remake being officially announced and even then, not 5 seconds of gameplay??

Of course I just started my first replay of OoT in over a decade. Im at the point where I’m going into the Temple of Time to pull the sword for the first time but I’m trying to get all the skull skulltulas and heart pieces I can before I do.
Also them saying the OoT remake will be out in 2026 without showing any gameplay is optimistic as hell since we are 6 months in already. I bet it comes out next Spring ultimately

So I only caught a few seconds here and there. Sounded like it was mostly ports of switch games to switch 2? What was actually announced?
I saw a couple of new games... Sports Resort 2 and Xenoblade 4. And then confirmation of OoT remake for this year. Anything else?

Eh? They bring in some major third party hitters, announce OOT and Xenoblade, KH4, a new Final Fantasy.
Probably one of the best directs they've had.
Solid parity withy other consoles, some recent third party big hitters, and 3 solid new games?
