Been meaning to check it out and couldn't pass it up at this price. Interesting looking JRPG that was once a PS3 exclusive if I'm not mistaken.

Uses some of the cel shading effects that you see in Zelda BOTW

I was shocked how cheap this game was and how much I enjoyed it.

I wish Ni No Kuni 2 was on nintendo switch.

You may also like DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition.

Also waiting for Y's IX to come out on Switch

Great game and has one of the best world maps in any JRPG. I really enjoy the battle system too.

Have you played any of the other Ys games on switch?

I just started Ys Origin and it's ok but it looks like the whole game might be confined to the tower

Same issue I had with ys lacrimosa of dana. Wish it were more open world with different terrains

I presumed that Y's origins was very old school. Is it 3D?

agree, I liked it but it was all on island and IIRC on that one guys ghost ship?

you would like the map and turn key battle of Dragon Quest 11.

Felt like playing a Studio Ghibli movie with Pokemon

It's pretty fun. Recommended to fans of Pokemon, RPGs, and Studio Ghibli.

This is the game that actually got me into watching Studio Ghibli movies. Great game and I was really disappointed at the battle system changes in Ni No Kuni 2.

I want freaking Ys 1 and 2 for the Switch. Used to have Ys 1 on the Master System.

Don’t want to have to break out an ever drive for the TG16 to play them.

It took me a bit to find whatever it is you had to find in this well.

They're on other platforms at least. The PSP/PC remakes were quite nice.

I played this a good bit the last couple nights. Enjoyable so far. I can't wait until they get beyond all the tutorial interruptions but they're probably necessary.

IIRC the map is spot on, accept for a few areas that show the object but it is on a different level upstairs.

Played 2 on PC but I haven’t finished it. I never played the first and it doesn’t seem like you need to.

The game has a lot of cool features but it is a bit too juvenile anime for my personal tastes.

It’s a big RPG, though. If you like the aesthetic you will get tons of time out of the game.

Oh, and play on hard difficulty at least.
