NCAA football vs. Madden

EA made both NCAA football and madden football games. It seems like the NCAA games were Always better and more advanced. Why wouldn’t EA switch madden to the NCAA format once they stopped making NCAA?

I feel like NCAA was given more freedom. It also seemed to be a trial ground for madden. Anything good would wind up in Madden the following year. I wish we could’ve seen the NCAA team take on the RPO. Took Madden so long and still didn’t feel right last year.

I got it a couple of years ago for XBox One. Have to say, it was... okay. I didn't miss it when I stopped playing it.
Online play was just a chore though. If I was good enough to win a game, they left. Most of the time though they knew the tricks that I never picked up on to ensure an open man or covering the right guy. Some people like that level of micromanagement (hot routes and audibled coverages), but it never appealed to me. Killed any fun in an online game environment though.

madden 21 is worst meta critic scored game by players in history of site, and devs and ea give no fricks.

Which is a shame, because they actually improved on a lot of their legacy gameplay issues.
Now, they have a massive road ahead in terms of franchise mode improvement, but I’m happy with the gameplay so far.
