I imagine it is a total clusterfrick trying to figure out the financials for how to pay every damn player in the NCAA for their likeness. Then, do you pay QB's more since their likeness is used more?
I know we are all excited about this, but I see it being a shitshow for a long while before these things are figured out.

Yea that might work but they’d also have to get every single FBS player (maybe only scholarship players but still) to agree to that which seems unlikely

It’s very simple.
Can you send out a one page contract to every person in the NCAA, stating that it is possible that they may be in the game, but there is no guarantee.
$500+copy of the game.
Don’t sign? Not in the game.
The interesting part is not going to be how the company negotiates with the players, but rather whether the players, collectively or individually, can negotiate.
Believe it or not, EA sports would still have leverage. Who the hell does not want to be in the NCAA football series?

pretty simple agree to it or leave that player out of the game and you just insert a create a player mode

Anyone with ncaa14 have a good updated roster for ps3? I’m using BossHawgMichigan from OS but it makes my game freeze on loading screen pregame.
