Yeah there were rumors about data for the extra 15 guys taking away too much available disk space and affecting gameplay.

I read on ncaastrategies.com that they finally got helmet numbers right. Something the gumps have been complaining about for a while. I am sure this is what they mean.

So does every screen shot ever taken on NCAA that isn't an actual depiction of gameplay.

I'm gonna go ahead and chalk this up to this just being the first report, and they're saving the big online and gameplay improvements for later.

Exactly. I would hope that the "new features" are kept to a minimum and instead they actually fix the gameplay that has sucked for years and has not at all improved. This is also my beef with Madden. Fix the AI, and you make the game playable. Until then...

This game is usually released in August correct? I have a lot of hope for this year. It looks like we may see a slightly better game. It's just a shame LSU wont be as good.

The graphics and subsequent screen shots have gotten exponentially better since 2007.

I think every year they do improve on that aspect somewhat. I've never seen a downgrade or no change at all except for maybe the sideline players. I think that this year or next year there will be great changes to the gameplay and display. I believe they are moving to an ESPN broadcast. So that should at least add some more modern and realistic aspects to the game.

Well sure. But you are still seeing screens captured from replays and from camera angles that the game itself is not played in.

sick. I want to try and join and online dynasty this year but never have. What are they like. Do you have to know the people. I want to join a TD dynasty but I have no idea how they work.

x1000

and I take it custom playbooks are not in as well? I guess they are planning on taking things in the ps2 versions for years and reselling them as new features for the next 3-4 years

This is how they work.

You have a commissioner who invites and controls the dynasty. When the game comes out, the owners of the main TD dynasties (the one I'm in has been going for 2 years) make a post asking for entries. Usually they let the members who were in the previous dynasty have first pick..but that just depends.

Anyway, in an offline dynasty (the regular one you probably play) you can play your game and advance once you finish, well the commish advances the week once everyone is finished (or if hes ready).

You play your week, and wait until the commish advances to play the next week..you recruit against usually everyone else in the dynasty because the teams that are taken are usually high profile programs.

The gameplay is what needs work. Formation subs is huge, but all they're doing is putting in stuff that used to be in there in past games. The gameplay is still bad, the way they run and stuff like that.

Formation subs + custom playbooks + improved gameplay = greatest college football game of all time

They got one down but they will probably mess it up somehow

NCAA '11. Just hearing this makes me... "Jizz In My Pants. Jizz in My Pants, Jizz in My Pants."

I never learn, and I'll still buy it no matter what.

Also, bring back the SI cover in the dynasty modes, or change it to "the Mag" with the ESPN license. I loved that shite, making the cover each week. Another added mini-competition in online dynasties.

Also, consolidated bowl week where everyone plays all bowl games in one advance.
