NCAA 09 Dynasty Stories

[This is for people playing a dynasty against the computer, not online.]
I recently finished year 1 and am in the middle of season 2. I started my dynasty the second day I got the game, so I struggled getting a handle for it early. I still beat Troy and North Texas, but just not by a huge margin (I just canceled the first game since App State isn't on the game). I barely got past Auburn, I won by 3 I believe. Whenever I got to the Florida game I got my arse handed to me. At one point I was down 42-10, but ended up coming back to make it a respectable 45-31 game.
I didn't lose another game on the regular season. I came back and beat Florida in the SEC Championship, spoiling their undefeated season and a chance at the NC. That put me in the sugar bowl where I played Missouri. I didn't have very much trouble with them. Ohio State ended up beating Clemson in the NC.
I started Lee the entire year. He ended up with over 2,000 passing yards and was named a Freshman All-American, along with Patrick Johnson. Chad Jones was my only 1st team AA player.
I'm undefeated so far in season 2. KW was an absolute animal my first 2 games, but got hurt towards the end of my second game. He's out for 12 weeks. Murphy, Scott and Holiday are doing fine, but KW was unstopable in my first two games.
How is your CPU dynasty going??

it is easy to recruit but i had chad jones transfer and coleman leave early and scott leave early, i was using hatch but threw too many ints second season started jefferson mainly because of the option i can score almost everytime now with kw or holliday, next year michael ford and shep will be starting though and uf is def the toughest team to play

It sure beats the hell out of 42-10.

Auburn on All-American standard sliders
La-Mo W 38-23
Southern Miss W 38-3
Kodi Burns has been the man in both games so far. Defense shined in Southern Miss game with 8 sacks and two Ints. No injuries. Up next Miss. St.

Is that supposed to be U-Louisiana of Monroe??
If it is, nice to see one team from Alabama can beat them.
Nevermind...that should say that leaves only one team in Alabama that CAN'T beat them.

I (LSU) went 11-1 regular season losing to UF. I am in the SECCG against Tennessee actually. If I win, there is a slim margin I'll go to the NC game. Mizzou & OU are #1, #2 and they play in Big 12 champ game. I'm #4 BCS, so need to jump WVU with my SECCG performance if that is possible.

quote:I have AU in my online dynasty and there is a true freshman WR #86, this guy is awesome. I have him as my number 3 WR, I moved him into that spot because I wanted someone fast, and he almost singlehandedly beat ULM and USM.

The day the game came out I started a dynasty with Baylor. I posted a topic about this that night or the next day about my epic comeback against OU. I lost 4 games that first season. Somehow won the big12 but lost the bowl game. My recruiting abilities are still lacking. Can't seem to land any 5 stars and i'm in the middle of season 3 with no 5 stars showing interest. I am getting more 4 star guys but no game breakers so far. Luckily I'm still winning most of my games since #10 for Baylor is fast. Maybe if I can with the NC this year I'll get more 5 stars interested for next. So far in season 3 I'm 6-1 and ranked 9th so it's not out of reach.

Started Hatch the whole year with KW the featured back. Only loss was to Florida in regular season 17-27. Not as close as the score. Cruised along to SECCG and played Florida again. Won 42-10 on a neutral field. Made it into BCSCG againt Ohio State. God they are good in this game. Went back and forth the whole game. They were up 17-10 with 0:19 left and I had it 4th & GL on the 16 thanks to a sack. Ran a 4 wide with Brandon Lafell on a post. He caught it between the safetys and we went to OT. They scored on 2 plays. Beanie Wells both times . I scored in about 6. Second OT I scored pretty easily with KW getting on a hotstreak. They got the ball and on the second play Harry Coleman destroyed Beckmon on a safety blitz. He fumbled it and we recoved for the win. It was the highest greatness score I have seen on the game. Over 2500 .
Just started year 2

Started with North Texas on AA, like to build a team up and switch positions. First year 7-4. NT has zero defensive ability, or maybe it's the user LOL. LSU destroyed me. Mediocre recruiting results.
Just began my second year on AA and beat USC in the first game. Have a few 5 stars interested and am full court pressing them to come to North Texas.

I'm in my first season about to play the nc game. I beat florida during the season by like 17 points. it was tied up until midway into the 3rd quarter. Recruiting has been especially easy. I have 18 committments so far. 5 - five stars and 7 4 stars. I'm sure I'll have to cut some people.
Keiland was my #1 back until getting hurt and being out for the season. Jarret was my qb, and threw for around 2500 before breaking his wrist in the seccg. rotated scott murphy and holiday at hb before settling with trindon.
im playing the normal mode. havent moved up to heisman yet.
- trindon won heisman
- bcs championship game against boise frickin state

So I decided to start my dynasty today since I have the whole weekend to myself and nothing else to do.
I created 10 recruits LSU was trying to get, including Shepard, Ford, Davenport, ect.
I ended up playing all the way up to the Ole Miss game, ranked #7 with only a loss to Florida. Shep, Ford, Randle, and Davenport had all committed to LSU.
Then a Thunderstorm came through about an hour ago and made my electricity blink, resetting my PS3, and I faced the harsh reality that I haven't saved the game progress since beating North Texas earlier in the season.
