I’m really glad I got this Xbox SX. Game Pass and EA Play are really awesome.

I wonder how long it will stay on GamePass though? I’m glad it’s there but I’m sure It won’t stay long and I’ll have to buy it to continue to play it

It should be there for some time. Their larger 1st party games stay forever and 3rd party are at least a year normally. This was a pretty big win for MSFT, so I doubt they remove it unless asked to from publisher.

Gamepass games can also be purchased at up to a 20% discount. Discount depends on publisher, so could be 0%.

Yeah I get that, but if it sucks or I simply don't like it, I wouldn't have wasted $70.

Can I just say how hilarious this is that a Sony produced game is literally free on day one with Xbox Game pass but full price on a Sony console? wtf are they doing?

Does seem odd. I figured opening the game to XBox was an MLB thing, but I doubt the MLB would have required Sony to put the game on Game Pass too. I bet Microsoft is paying a bundle for this.

I play my Series X 95% more than the PS5. Thinking about selling the PS5, Sony is just fricking awful.

can’t say enough how much I love what xbox is doing. They’ve brought the future of gaming to the present. pretty impressive what phil spencer has done considering how they started last generation.

They tried doing this last generation with the Xbox one but all the whiney a-hole nerds ruined it at e3

They really are. I own a PS5, but Sony needs to realize they are fricking themselves. They need to wake up and see that MSFT is being gamer friendly, while they aren't. People will see that.

Sony is the one getting fricked around by MLB. Part of extending the license for multiple years was agreeing to putting the game on other consoles. It seems clear MLB has a lot of say in how the game will make its way to other consoles and it is clear they don't care the optics in play between the 2 companies. MLB is doing what they want to maximize their profits.

Micro transactions are a large part of the game so I'm sure MLB is fine with taking whatever MS offered to put it on GamePass knowing that it will increase the chances of micros transactions by potentially tens of millions of users.

Good point. Most people keep playing sports games for a long time, but you will get a discount on buying it if you already have it downloaded. I generally steer away from the newer 3rd party AAA games on Game Pass if I know I be playing them for longer than a few months. I'll just wait until they are super cheap.
