The first Hellblade was one of my favorite games of the 8th gen. The second one was visually a technical marvel but the gameplay and combat was a lot less engaging than the first. The voices in your head, while an interesting aspect of the first game, were relentless and annoying in the second. Overall it was a disappointment. The 3rd game looked promising though. I hope somehow it sees the light of day.

The AAA industry will be extinct within the next 10-15 years. Bookmark it.
Mobile and live service games have been dominating the industry for the last 5 -10 years and they only continue to become more popular. They cost infinitely less to make, way less time to make, and yield minimal risk in profit losses. Consoles are becoming more and more of a foreign concept to the younger generations and they would rather play something at their fingertips anytime and anywhere.

I don't know about that, but the gaming industry has certainly flown too close to the sun. Once it became a major industry and the suits got involved, it's all been downhill.
