I still do it bc D2 is the only thing I play. I've crafted and maxed quite a few guns the last 2 seasons but it's definitely getting old. I think one of my clanmates put it perfectly..this is pretty much the sentiment of most of the OG'S that have played since d1.

Yep. The grind has killed my interest.
D1 was perfect at the end. They didn't need to frick with that formula.

In certain content - pvp except trials, seasonal content, and all non pinnacle raids and dungeons.

It still works just fine in quickplay and iron banner. Just not for trials or any power level important endgame content.

Yes. This is how I feel. I got to a point to do Master content and it just reset on me. Oh well. I'll just do the other stuff and got burnt out.

The power creep is a definite problem. They at least made each season a smaller climb, which helps. I've just started taking seasons off on that power climb. Reset some. Next season i'll probably hit the grind a little harder and be grinding some of the end game content.
Definitely something they need to work on though. There has to be a better system. I just don't think that destiny is the type of game that should be built around a seasonal model.

I'll just add that this is definitely how I feel. I get that you want to challenge the players and the most challenging content gets the coolest gear. But I did it for almost 4-5 season straight and just got to a point where that stuff didn't matter to me any more.

I just got in. Played the opening witch queen mission. Pretty fun, but it ain't the same game without your crew to play with. I didn't buy the expansion. Just not serious enough for it anymore. It looks complicated af now with all the subclasses and sub subclasses and stuff.
Played a few solo missions on D1. Still miss that experience.

That's what broke me of D2 the first time. Definitely seems like even more now. I'm not going to get into it again. Might just make a new character and run through the story and do some PvP occasionally.

I'm still rocking my duke 44 with outlaw/killclip, range masterwork. 2 taps to the head once I get it going.
