Really gorgeous looking game and they nailed it with Indiana Jones and the settings.

But I feel like I have ADD when it comes to these slow paced games.

When my “gameplay” consists of me simply holding the analog stick a certain way to do a canned animation of just moving some vines out of the way.

Killing the 10th brain dead AI in a row with the same method of hitting him in the back of the head after spending 15 minutes searching for a key to unlock a gate. Also scaling the side of a building at the pace of a snail… I couldn’t do it anymore, but that’s just me.

are the puzzles good? That'd probably be the only reason I buy the game is if the puzzles are top notch.

I haven't put more than a couple of hours in and so far they are super easy. The combat is very sluggish in my opinion but I'm kind of viewing this game as more of an interactive story experience and just enjoying the ride. Got it through Game Pass so it helps that I didn't pay retail for it.

I'm in the Vatican right now and so far the game is beyond boring. Hopefully it gets better, but I doubt it.

So far so good for the game itself but I've only just gotten to the Vatican.

That said, this game is the poster child for how blurry modern video game visuals have become. The opening forest area looks like it was running in upscaled 720p, but I know it's not because I was running in native res with TAA.

Esshhh. This says it all.

I watched a bit of gameplay with no preconceptions about the game. It didn’t look good to me. Granted it was a small sample of the start of the game but damn it looked like a poor man’s uncharted.

I’ll have to check out more but it legit looked like something I’d checkout if it was free but might be a bit disappointed had I paid for it.

I’m enjoying it

The AI is pretty tame but if you like sneaking around and exploring, you’ll like this.

Picked this up on Game Pass yesterday. It's a good time so far. The puzzles can be a bit challenging which is enjoyable.

This game would have been better served to be a strictly linear adventure, dropping the "open area" activities.

They also appear to have made an entire game designed after those city sections of Homefront the Revolution which is an interesting choice.

I believe Indiana Jones is a deceptively difficult franchise to adapt in video game form, but the constant sneaking around is an odd choice. Punch enemies to death is also not exactly compelling gameplay.

Finally got a chance to give this a try and have been playing most of the day today. I can understand the hype. Fits Indiana Jones perfectly. Really enjoying it so far.

I must be the target audience for this game because I'm loving just sneaking around and discovering stuff. The voice acting is top-tier. I honestly thought the prologue used Harrison Ford recordings from one of the movies but found out today it was the voice actor for the game. I could not tell the difference even after watching a YouTube video putting the movie and game back to back.

My wife loves all the art in the Vatican so she's enjoyed watching me play this one.

Love this game so far. I thought the first person view would annoy me but so far I think it works well.

Voice acting is amazing. If I listen carefully I can tell it's not really Harrison Ford but it's really, really close. Probably the best movie character voice in a video game that didn't use the original actor. It's usually laughably bad.

At this point I've been through the Vatican and currently at Gizeh. The Vatican was pretty cool. I enjoyed exploring all of the places. Stealth wasn't too bad. I have to go back and clean up a couple small things there.

Gizeh so far is not as fun. I love the setting a lot, though. But it seems like stealth is much harder. Most of my fun comes from the exploring and the overally story. I hated the Vatican until I learned the "rules" of exploring that area with what I could get away with and what to avoid.

Punching people has grown on me, especially with the "crack" of Indy's fist. Makes me feel like I'm in an Indy movie except it happens so much. But that's video games and to be expected to avoid boredom. I only used guns once in the Vatican when I got cornered. I've used them a few times already in Gizeh. Enemies seem to be bullet sponges, so having a 6 shot rifle doesn't go far.

The best part is just the overall story and characters. If you can deal with the gameplay (which I enjoy), then it's a top notch story and feels like a real Indiana Jones experience. I love the religious aspect of the story that fits right in with Raiders and Last Crusade. That topic and conspiracies are right up my alley. It may be my 3rd favorite Indy experience behind Raiders and Last Crusade and before Temple of Doom. This needs to be a franchise with many more sequels.

Shanghai was an intense little level.

Siam is really pretty. I must be getting close to the end at this point.

I made it to the battleship before I used a gun, found myself in a bad spot.

Nah, you'll have to wait till "sometime between March and June" to pay full price for a game that released day one on Game Pass. Thanks for helping fund the sequel!

I just made it to Iraq which I think is the last level. I read a little bit of spoilers and it doesn't look like you pick up anything valuable in this last section. So I'm probably going to go back and clean up some areas and grab some things I missed. I've done everything except a few relics or books in the Vatican and Thailand. I didn't realize I was getting to the end of Gizeh so there a few more mysteries and fieldworks to do. The smaller areas have some stuff, too...I remember Shanghai having an underwater section that you need the rebreather for.

Excellent game that I never got tired of. My biggest tip would be to tell new players to google where the disguises are in each area. That makes it much easier to go through heavy enemy areas as long as you look out for the captains that can spot you. I would love a New Game Plus to go back through the story retaining all of my gear and skills.
