Same. Apparently there are some really good ones out there.

Cemu is the one I used last time I started to play. It worked great.

I’m on the last Devine beast in Garudo, I don’t want it to end

Yeah, that seems to be the best way to go, for sure.

This is the first Zelda game that I've spent more than just a few hours playing (just finished the 2nd divine beast). After just a little research, it seems like some form of Ganon is the big bad in the vast majority of Zelda games. Are Zelda fans getting tired of that?

I don't mind since it's made clear in the games that it's a neverending cycle / prophecy. That said, I've only ever played the console Zelda games, and Majora's Mask (which doesn't have Ganon) is one of my favorites.

I finished at about 136 hours, but it wasn't a complete finish. I didn't do all the side quests.

My BOTW mistake though...

My son is 8 and wanted to start his own game. I finished BOTW but wanted to do the DLCs. I decided instead to go ahead and let my son play, and I started a new game. It was very hard to just erase 135+ hours...

And an hour later I found out I could have just created a new Switch profile and didn't have to delete my game. Yep. Still kicking my arse on that one

I have about 35 hours. I only had beaten one divine beast and was working my way in the fire one. Went on a trip for a couple of weeks and just could never get back into it. It’s been 6 months now and I just tried last weekend and only could die in the heat like 5 times before getting annoyed and quitting.

I need to power through and figure out what the hell is going on again because I need to finish

Make sure you are wearing 2 pieces of firebreaker armor and the heat on the mountain won't hurt you.

Like previously mentioned, its an understood prophecy/cycle. But they almost always do a good job of reinventing him so it's a different experience. Hell, in Windwaker he's almost a sympathetic character and I kinda sided with him.

Yea, if you don't have the necessary armor, you need to cook or purchase potions to survive in the heat/cold for extended periods of time.

I hate saying this as I am big time on Zelda for years. But after playing Witcher3 and Skyrim...

BOTW isn't as great. I hope BOTW2 is good.

yes & no. I think losing the weapon on BOTW is beyond annoying. all games are open world. I like the marking of quests blinking on the map-- of Skyrim & Witcher. I like the structure. I had never stepped out of Zelda world.

It’s not nearly as story driven but the gameplay mechanics kick the others arse IMO
