No, each divine beast is sort of a temple, but not to the scale of previous games. There are also 4 large mazes, but, again, not really a temple. The rest of the puzzles are the 200 or so shrines littered throughout the map.

Only a few. I started playing something else and never got back to it. I keep planning on getting around to it, but I keep failing.

that one beast with the large wheels that you had to turn to get to the terminals was not enjoyable. I want dungeons with the cool puzzles on moving blocks and switches, shooting switches.

Just picked this up yesterday, I wasn't a big fan of this animation style coming in, but it's an absolutely beautiful game. I'm headed to the research lab in the hat village to try and get my slate repaired, so still early.

I think I must suffer from some rare defect of the gaming soul. I've been playing for about five hours, attempting to will myself to become immersed in the lush wonder of the open world, but it hasn't happened yet. It's been unsatisfying. Perhaps the game will blossom for me if I continue to play.

Yeah, that’s how I played it. Unlocked all the towers and then went after the Divine Beasts. I fricking hate that tower with all the electric enemies around it. That one is a bitch to get up.

The first time I went to Hyrule Castle I had one heart left being chased by guardians, and then made it to the safety of a guard tower... only for the gates to close behind me and a Silver Lynel jump down from the ceiling. FFFFFFUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!

Yep. Just take your time getting to him and run like hell if you get in any Guardians path. You will certainly get killed a few times trying to get to him though. There is a secret entrance or two to Hyrule Castle... but where’s the fun in revealing that?
