I’m getting this for my son for Christmas and I don’t want to pay more for the 512GB. How many games can I download on 128GB? I know my son would like football, basketball, baseball, shooting games, racing, and the plank game. Would those be enough to fit? I’m just learning as I go with this.

Depends dramatically on the game, just like on any platform. Some indy games will be really small and you could fit dozens of them. Other games will fill up every bit of that storage with a single game. If you can come back with specific games, we would be able to help more.

five to ten easily, but the odds that he needs them all at once are slim

Mates, I am not a "video game" guy nor a Zuck cuck, but I have to say the Meta Quest 3 (bought on a whim while I was wandering Target on shrooms) is fantastic.

It's raised my piano skills to an entirely new level and I've done both yoga and stretchies every day since purchasing the system 4 days ago.

Highly recommended.

Are you being sarcastic? What all can you do on it besides play games?

One of the things I am using my Quest 3 for us virtual desktops using Immersed. I have it linked to my work PC and use it in place of a monitor for 4-6 hours a day. I have 4 virtual desktops surrounding me, all are perceived to be 60" or so.

I also use Supernatural for meditation amd stretching routines.

BigScreens is great for watching TV or movies in a simulated movie theater environment.

You can use it for VR porn as well but I haven't figured out how to make that work other than via movie theater simulation.

Yeah I like it for watching movies and shows bc it eliminates my ability to fiddle with my phone and get distracted.

The piano aspect is #1 for me and the stretching and Pilates for my flexibility and supposedly they’re getting rowing soon which would be rad if I can use my water rower with it

We have a 128 Q2 and it has not come close to full with all the stuff the kids put on it. Under the tree is a 512 Q3 with the hopes more full length games show up.

I bit the bullet and got the 512. Software takes up 20mb to start. Updates and larger gamedownloads will make the 128 a pain in the arse. Sitting in damn Walmart pickup right now for the past 45 minutes waiting on it. Bought the 3 year protection too, because my son will break something somehow

Just got it as I finished, now to Best Buy to pick up ps5

I just installed AW2 on it a few days ago. It's supposed to be the premier VR game right now and the download was about 40gigs to install it direct on the quest3 so I don't have to deal with AirLink.

If that's the size of high end games, 128g is gonna be a pain in the arse.

So the two games that are big it seems are AW2 and AC. After that and all the new nonsense we purchased, there is still plenty of room.

30% faster and the graphics are very much updated...Its 100% worth the money for someone who doesn't have one to start with, but I'm not sure i should not have just kept our 2

What the poster above me said + a generational leap in mixed reality capability.
