Going to choose upgrading my spear as my first quest. 
Took a bit to get used to the controls again, but damn I remember why I love this game.
The snow effect as mentioned are great, the sounds and walking effect all very well done.

I forgot how to play and got absolutely rocked by the first enemy I saw.

Should I do any of the side quests outside the frozen wilds area first or just start at the one at the top?

The game is great, it runs along with the base game so no advancing of the narrative it seems.

So the only level 50 save I had was after the final mission had started, so I couldn't just go exploring and start the DLC. So I beat it again and then realized that Frozen Wilds hadn't actually downloaded like I thought.
Will start tomorrow.

Played a little last night. The scorcher daemon isn't all that bad, he's just a stronger ravenger. The animations are fantastic, and you feel the emotion. I can't wait to play it some more tonight

All three of the "starting" quests just tell you to investigate The Cut, and the new zone starts from there.

I'm liking it so far. Just started exploring. I like the audio files I've experienced so far. Definitely gonna try and collect as many as I can.
I also want to go back and try to get the rest of them from all over. There are just so many of them.
