I’m gonna run some of the achievements for y’all in the game icon on ps5 homescreen, most are just the bronze ones a few silver

- Spend 5 talent points
-!Follow the butterflies
- Reach combo string of 100
- Complete all tiers of challenge (this is bronze so I assume it means not like all hard stuff but specific Arena based challenges)
- Learn all spellls (so this will theoretically be able to be done idk how without w guide blind but it isn’t huge since this a build and counter build type combat some of your spells willl blow)
- Brew alll potions
- Stun 10 different enemy types using a mandrake
- Kill (it says defeat) 50 enemies using Petrificus Totalus
- Use Flipendo 10 times to flip a cow
There is 2 there for upgrade 1 piece of gear and a second for 3 pieces so it may be a minor addition.
There’s more but it could give context clues to the witty
This is taking in account no gold or higher can be seen

I had a feeling this would be the case. I mean, based off footage, Avada Kedavra can one shot Trolls
and Crucio seems like it completely incapacitates someone. Imperio it appears they’ll fight on your side. I’m gonna try not to lean on them too heavily but I’ll def be using them, esp on Trolls. Personally, I hope they expand on “the Dark Arts”. Really all it boiled down in the books was the 3 curses, the Horcruxes and whatever potion Wormtail used to bring Voldy back. In the Fantastic Beasts movies you saw Grindelwald use necromancy. So I’m hoping we get a little bit more variety with the Dark Arts besides just the 3 curses

The extreme long cool down for them will balance out their power, the kill curse is in a different type of things.
To use an action game with stamina analogy those spells will drain your whole bar and cant dodge roll the boss lol. It is also counterbalanced by what im thinking the commitment will need to be to do to make them godly

Still mining data as we tick under 20 hours. An expansion concept idea has already been floated by the devs and WB/Sony whoever is producing this. Think about the implications when 99% of the customers havent touched it lol. Also i havent personally verified this but if you were smart enough to get the hogsmead quest all building, store, upright structure will be real alive and enterable.

What "cons?" The trophies are there, the people have been playing through some sort of mishap since about 12 noon yesterday lucky bastards. The game was being live streamed for thousands easily at any given time.
ETA: Just saw some data released from the marketing people a t the publishes that their expectations but Ravenclaw by far the number one choice of house upwards of even expecting 60-65%

It was things about the NPC’s feeling lifeless. And at night, they disappear but you don’t see them sleeping in the beds in the dorms. Seems immersion breaking. Also saw a few people say the world outside of Hogwarts is dull and boring.

From what I have seen personally and verified, been told by trusted people indepent in gaming media, and all that lead to this, simply because from the hour i watched and insane amount i know about this game at this point. The only way there can be a con for someone or you is if that "thing" just doesnt do it for you specifically. I know someone who beat the game in 20 hours run main story only, maybe a con, but theres entire intricate subplots involving your professors others students and more you must do to expand the spell that each teach can provide with class.
Combat? A con? No its objectively extremely well made and the game runs better than any launch mega title since 2000.
Yes there are some unimportant things that could maybe happened and vanish not impacting your game experience at all.
It objectively and cannot be said it doesnt have the best game a PS5 has sent to market yet, bar none, no one has even been near. Cant speak to pc or xbox
Not with standing things I dont know of course because I still havent even played, all we do know and ive seen most cons worth discussion at more than an acknowledgement is a you issue not the game. This game will not be we for mass audiences, many people will know why fromsoft doesnt put easier modes in their game after this

I would say im 95% you are watching people complain who maybe got early access testing with stuff to iron out and not the people who actually are normal like me and you and have had the game almost 28 hours now some because disc got shipped and clocks got unlocked in a batch of PS IDs

IGN review is a bit concerning to me....seems like an "I'm going to overlook quite a few issues because a real Hogwarts RPG is finally out" review.
I have been very excited about this game, but fully expect it to be overrated. Hope I am wrong.

I will say that I was disappointed that they caved in to the mob. They added an option to play as trans at the last minute

Did they take a stance that they weren't going to do this?
Either way, you are playing a fantasy game with wizards and magical creatures. Who the frick cares if they allow someone to select a "gender neutral" option

How does that even work? You can pick a male character with a female voice? What makes the character "trans?"

IGN says what they are paid to say. This game is going to be amazing and come super fricking polished at launch because the machine glitched somewhere and real people unbound by NDA got the shite out to us
