Damn I may grab it. Released today but early access and already on sale? Did I read that right

I'm guessing it for two reasons:
1. Raise capital to finish.
2. Get testers for the game.
I remember when a ton of games had demos so you could try it out, not may do that anymore. I'm guessing so people don't find out if the game is garbage before buying.

I bought it but have been too busy playing Esoteric Ebb to spend much time with it. Graphics look great.

The nostalgia boner has been painfully long lasting
Was up until 2 last night
One more turn. . .

I played the hell out of this one as a kid, and thoroughly dominated the computer.
Played again now that I'm older and it feels way tougher.

HMM3 is definitely the best game in the series and one of the best turn based strategy games of all time.
It was on sale on Steam for a few bucks recently and I bought it on a lark and put 130 hours into it, that was in addition the many hundreds of hours I put into it back when it first came out.
The art and the music have a timelessness to them, I still prefer it to most games today.
Looks like Olden Era takes most of it's queues from 3 which is good. I'll def. consider getting it at some point. I wish they would have gone with a more traditional "hand draw" art style because it looks sorta mobile game'ish but the early reviews are positive and if it's half as good as 3 was it'll still be great.
