It's almost as if it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it.
This all stems from this delusion that if people stop preordering games (will never happen), studios will stop releasing them in a seemingly incomplete form.
There are a lot of games I'll buy regardless of what I hear about them. I love those series so much, even if I don't get on the exact release date, I won't be able to resist for long.
GTA 5 is the only one in the series that I ever really played, but I absolutely loved it and I doubt I'll wait long before buying this.

I think you are missing the point.
People are bitching about Rockstar expecting people to buy/pre-order without showing gameplay.
No one is forcing anyone to pre-order. Everyone is free to wait until they see what they want to see before buying.
For me, pre-ordering gets me nothing. I DGAF about any digital extras. For others those extras mean the world, and that's fine. But you can pre-order anytime. So getting pissed about not seeing game play yet makes no sense to me.
I know I am going to buy this game barring it going the Cyberpunk route.
I am not going to pre-order just in case it does go that route.

People pre-ordering games based on name recognition alone is why so many AAA games suck these days. Studios know they can release something with their flagship product attached to it and people will line right up and pay for it regardless. It takes years of bad releases before consumers actually stop buying (see: Ubisoft).
That said, I never once told you what you should or should not do. I said what I'm going to do, and you (and others) have been melting about it for multiple pages of the thread. Spend your money however you wish.

A hitman like system where users could create missions or objectives and publish them would be awesome.

I really tried to get into 4. But it's no secret that R* control schemes are an acquired taste and I still don't feel I've acquired it yet. But I liked 5 and RDR2.
I remember reading an article about the RDR2 crunch, and someone from R* was quoted saying they begged the Housers to modernize the controls and they just wouldn't do it. Don't get it. Not everything needs to play like CoD, but those games can be too much.

This thread was made to tell people when pre orders would be available. If you aren’t going to pre-order and you really don’t care what other people do, I’m not sure how this thread is relevant to you at all.
