Vice City got clobbered. It's one thing to not be able to license certain songs for whatever reasons. It's another to not even try to replace them when you're charging 60 bucks for a remaster.

I'm still looking forward to playing it in a few hours.
Maybe they'll add Vice City stories and that will come with more music for the game.

Not gonna lie. 60 bucks for games that contain less music than the originals had seems like a ripoff.

Isn’t it $60 for three games? So it’s $20 per game.

This. If you are just splitting the 60 between the games then it comes out to 20 per. I'm getting it on pc so if I want more songs I will just add them.

Looking at leaked gameplay footage of Vice City I don't really think I am into this art style at all either. Oh well can't really complain they're saving me $60.

They should at least have a way to integrate Pandora or Spotify if you have those services

here is the full track list if you haven't seen it yet

Radio X on San Andreas still looks good although it'll get repetitive.

i only ever listened to VROCK when i played vice city. i probably won't miss the missing songs on the other radio stations. never got into the soundtrack on III and SA.

eta: after looking at Emotion 98.3, i might listen to it more.

The aiming is still awful.

Also, maybe I am imagining things, but it feels like game speed is still tied to framerate. 60 FPS just feels too fast.

I started on Vice City. Drowned 3 times by driving the Faggio into the water over by the light house and decided to switch to San Andreas.

They need to do something about the way that the player moves on foot and I don't remember the cars being so stiff in Vice City or San Andreas but maybe they were.

Overall, it seems like it's worth it. I just hope that it isn't like GTA V and they actually update the game. It'd be nice if they would at least remaster Vice City stories and throw the music in there.

Wave 103, Emotion, Flash FM, and Fever are all great stations. VCPR and K-Chat too.

The music cuts don't bother me. It sucks, but it's also the reason why it's so difficult to re-release any game that makes heavy use of licensed music.

Rockstar and Take Two know people are going to buy the shite out of this collection without their having to fork over the cash for music rights.

Music is the soul of Vice City though.

It adds so much to the atmosphere. Vice City is a pure atmosphere game as GTA controls at that time were pretty atrocious, but the mix of landscape/city style, music, story.... all just worked well.

I'm pretty bummed.

There aren't as many as I was expecting.

So far, I've heard Video Killed The Radio Star, Japanese Boy, and Running With The Night. Not sure if Yankee Rose was on the "maybe" list but I've heard it too.

The Michael Jackson songs seem like they're definitely gone and I'd guess that Running Down A Dream is gone on San Andreas.

When they list was first posted, it looked like Vice City might take a really hard hit. But it looks like MJ and maybe Ozzy and Kate Bush are the only losses from the original.

I enjoy hearing this old dialog again

Vice city was light years beyond gta 3 in story and overall feel.

I started out with Vice City and never could get into 3 because it seemed like such a step back(especially the music).

Probably still won't play 3 but I guess that they might as well have included it. It was definitely really popular in it's day.

San Andreas looks a bit rough in the air.
