Y’all known Ultimate General Gettysburg and Ultimate General Civil War have been out for years and are way more polished than this game looks

definitely no head glitching on the battlefields of Antietam or Shiloh

The mod for empire total war looks better than this and it came out over a decade ago.

I miss the days when Sid Meier was releasing games like this. His Civil War games were great.

Yeah, his Antietam! and Gettysburg! games were pretty good. Still, the old Talonsoft Battleground series remains the gold standard for Civil War gaming.

Well the impact of previous battles plays a huge role.
If you were bled white from a resource standpoint getting to Washington DC it’ll be almost impossible to achieve final victory regardless of your in battle tactics.
If you dominate the battles leading up to that final engagement it’s almost a foregone conclusion that you will win.

I’m redoing it and have won all battles but retreated from Antietam. I’ve won Antietam before but lost so much men it wasn’t worth it. Have I think Fredericksburg next and I usually don’t have issues with it. I hate how the Al scales their numbers up no if you increase your numbers
