Ghost of Tsushima or Deathloop?

My PS5 comes in Friday. I always buy a sports game and an action game when I buy a new console. I’m going with madden and either Ghost of Tsushima or Deathloop? Can anyone offer a reccomendation between the two?

Ghost of tsushima is the best game i have played.
The instant fast travel is a game changer on the new systems

Ghost of Tsushima. Not even up for debate!

I’ll throw out the Deathloop recommendation. I just finished the main story line last week and I absolutely love this game. Very creative story, fun gameplay. Plus it’s not terribly long either and you could get to Ghost of Tsushima after.
I also really enjoyed that one on PS4, but it’s way more in depth and exploratory so it’s a longer play.

Ghost is one of the best games ever made especially if you have a PS5

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. Think I will go with Ghost as y’all said and mess with Deathloop later on. So pumped to have this ps5 coming my way. Thanks again.

I am doing a Ghost replay on my Ps5 now and I’m really enjoying it once again.

I recommend playing Ghost three times allcthenway through.
1)first go max out your skill tree clear everything play on whatever s difficulty is comfortable but toil likely be on hard in the 2nd act
2) use that save lid a new game plus on lethal + difficulty and take advantage of the awesome additional charms and cosmetics. Some big+ charms can make the game ezponetiojwlly harder like dying in one hit or removing iron will or tripling how much resolve things cost. There’s also fun ones like heavenkynstrike causing an enemy to be hit by lightning and controlling enemy dogs
3) regular new game on lethal mode. Cannot upgrade sword. Can upgrade tanto once after 2/3 of the main act missions are done.both bows can have two upgrades. Only skill points you can use are ones needed to get parry heal parrycresolve running dash and perfect dodge. No stance points. You can get concentrate level 1, thief roll, heightens sense lefel 1, no ghost weapon upgrades except firecracker. Lastly no pouch upgrades from trapper
It’s so fricking hard

Seriously everyone try the 3 scenario I laid out. I forgot to put armor upgrades. Travel can be maxed to help with collecting stuff and map clears. Ghost, Gosaku, Sakai, cannot be upgraded. You can choose two upgrades to use one on twocarmors or both on one of Kenzie Tadayori Ronin Samurai
The parry true starts with perfect, you don’t get unyielding meaning all bluebattacks must dodge, so healing, deflect arrow, resolve. You miss parry spear as well
No stance upgrades no iron will no standoff streak. One level of concentration, you can have safe landing and one level of fat hearing.

Feel like i need to reiterate Deathloop. Ghost was a great game, fun gameplay, and tons to explore, but it’s pretty standard PlayStation protagonist upgrade tree style.
If you really want to play both, I’d recommend DL first.

I’m doing that challenge I laid out, well I was before I discovered the epic generational mass effect, and consider in really fricking good at this game, the tenge demon has killed me 27 times.
This is coming from someone who beat the entire NG+ run with the charm that makes you die in one hit except for one boss on the expansion
I’d wager 90% of the player base doesn’t even have the smallest clue how massive an impact each link improvement on your sword is. It took me probably 5-6 minutes to kill the generic shite shied boss in the first dojo area you can clear early because if you do that challenge staggering becomes far more in your focus and that’s because it doesn’t just happen it takes forever and you have to work at it in smart ways. And even when I did stagger him it tookc6 to kill him. It’s a lot of fun but if you already aren’t very good at this game it will either break you or make you into a god

My playtime was at 60+ hours when I got the platinum trophy and that was before I even went to Iki island. So yeah def a much longer play if you do all the quests. Some of the main character side quests were really good, like Norio.

Not sure im down for this, i liked near the end when i was fully maxed out. I could go fricking ham and clear out enemies very quickly. Also fricking awesome to jump a group of mongols on your horse and slice through them within seconds. Mid way through i would just avoid those encounters because it would be a chore to fight all of them.

None of this sounds fun. I’ll stick to easy.

The game is far too easy on lethal difficulty if you use all skill points. It almost a joke
