I mean it’s a lot of fun to me and a ton of other people. It’s getting a lot discussion and buzz about it. The game as it is is FAR too easy even on lethal + unless you play new game plus and use three minor charms to make it harder which is regarded because it takes charm spots. The challenge I’m revering to people have been tweaking and coming up with if you’re on lethal normal enemies in relation to sword power or strength doesn’ really matter one frick. It’s the whole point of the difficulty yu and your enemies hit harder. Staggering is the biggest part that goes with not upgrading your weapon but you can cheese this with gosuko armor and stack stagger charms. If you play the challenge as it is laid out it provides the best realistic sword fighting samarai experience because amosy every hit is fatal. It changes the game in a way it badly needed, making every enemy encampment, random group, mission arena alll require serious strategy with very well put together load outs instead of just doing anything and it not mattering. There’s more but a big TLDR if you aren’t already at least pretty damn good as in you play on lethal and don’t take damage often, you’d be in for a first time FromSoft time experience for hours. But the game is wayyyyy more complex in gameplay, every actin and plan matters, and more and more but I’ve made the point. I say all this think g the base game in itself is a masterpiece
