I told him about the thread and he worked on his list. I got permission to post.

I tried logging into his account.

Thought fosho it would be an easy hack.

Was convinced his password would be flower or ilovehorses.

In his words, he's never played a game that handled exploration quite as well as BotW did. He can't get into Skyrim, but he loved this game.

The world is your wrestling ring in BotW.

You can climb and jump off anything.

Maybe one day they'll release it on PC and I can mod it to where none of my shite breaks.

Game of the Decade for me: Fallout New Vegas.

I need to think on the rest.

I wish I had finished it on 360 when I first played it. going back now is so rough after playing 4, mechanics wise.

It was originally on my Top 10, but I had forgotten about Borderlands 2, and since NV was the only one on my list that I hadn't finished, it got bumped on a technicality.

I preferred the Capital Wasteland as a setting, but I get people liking NV over 3.

In response to this and your other comment, I totally get it. New Vegas was actually the first Fallout game I got into. I got it on 360 when it came out and later started over on it when I switched to PC exclusively in 2011. NV is one of my top 3 games ever. I’ve played it over and over again with different mods, factions, choices, etc

Fallout 4 graphics wise and gameplay wise is immensely better. But I just fell in love with New Vegas’s setting, story line, factions, characters, quests, choices, etc.

I started Fallout 3 after playing NV, and while graphically similar, some things are different like not being able to aim down sights. I would have enjoyed 3 more if I hadn’t played NV first. That said, I enjoyed 3 and 4 a lot, even with their shortcomings and I loved NV, even with its problems and it has plenty.

One thing that has really messed me up when trying to go back to NV is repairing weapons. With 4 you don't have that issue so once I have a gun I don't need to pick up another one. I have to remap my looter brain to remember that I need to keep a few of every weapon in stock for repair reasons alone.

I simply have to post things I played; for instance, Witcher 3 has been sitting in my Steam library for years but I've never even launched it.

Top 10 in no particular order:
Overwatch
Resident Evil 2 (Remake)
SOMA
Rocket League
Rainbow Six Siege
Grand Theft Auto V
Destiny 2
Wolfenstein: The New Order
DOOM 2016
Apex Legends

Honorable Mentions:
Ori & The Blind Forest (agree with OP - fantastic game)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (I bash it, but it's well polished, well optimized, and fun when you're not getting your shite kicked in)
MORDHAU
NieR: Automata
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

I omitted 4 from my list, and that was a mistake.

fallout 4 was really good.

I spent a ton of time in that world.
200+ hrs, maybe more

However, most of the time was spent just trying to improve the game with mods. This sounds like a negative but I sincerely enjoyed the experience.
