def not a negative. id say that's a plus.
that game had some of the strangest locations. like that booby trapped parking garage, or Dunwich (sp?) Borers
building and defending settlements was fun too.

The only one had left for a platinum and it's probably the hardest and most fickle one to get on any game.

Mine was Sanctuary Hills when I played on PS4. I kept all of my stuff at that same truck stop, but as far as any settlement building I with with Sanctuary. I tried it on a big scale and a small scale, but there is no rhyme or reason for getting 100 happiness on a settlement. I'd usually cap out at 93 and it would just sit there. Then I'd think "maybe some more lighting over here", so I'd drop down a generator and it would start to plummet and wouldn't recover.
It's so dumb.

I uhh.. had 6 or 10 settlements. lol. movie theatre settlement was absolutely massive.
I went full autism on that shite and loved it.

I tore down one of those trashed houses in Sanctuary and built my own house just to display all my crap. I put some shelves to display all my different flavors of Nuka Cola and all the Cram, Instamash, etc. It was awesome.

When it comes to Far Cry games, the story isn't the reason I play. But I do agree, I was put into the moment fo'sho.
It is for exploration. The game, esp in FC5, really rewarded you for exploration. The game is loaded with cool unique "scenes", both for side missions and random encounters.

I'm attempting, here and there, to play through 3 again since I never actually beat it but I'm kind of missing 5 right now.
I'm playing through Control as well, which is definitely GOTY worthy, but it's checkpoint system is garbage and it made me quit tonight.

I think with games like Overwatch, PUBG, Fortnite, and Apex Legends, games that have a long life span, it's easy to forget the best version of one of the GOAT shooter franchises of all time.
Plus, CS players are a different breed and I doubt they surface long enough to come up with a top 10 list.
