Game pass has conditioned me to think paying $60 for a game is ridiculous

Your milage may vary depending on wether the games you want to play are actually in game pass or are coming there, but after getting Metro Exodus and Kingdom Come for free, I really snear at buying games at full price now. Especially at the rate game pass is expanding.
Outer World's is coming day one as well.
Google is missing a great opportunity to counter this with stadia subscriptions. Them making you pay for the games individually is a huge mistake.

Just downloaded Kingdom Come yesterday. As someone that loves Medieval era stuff and RPGs, I'm looking forward to playing very much.

The music is amazing. Maces are the way to go. And once you get to the monastery, do yourself a HUGE favor and watch the quick way to finish that quest on YouTube.

It's rare I buy a game when it first comes out anymore. Having gotten Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, and God of War for $20 or less that's hard to beat

I think Xbox letting people switch to ultimate for years in advance for $1 was genius. I'm going to be totally addicted to this when my subscription finally runs out.

You really love to just make threads propping up XBox don’t you? You’re bragging about games being free that are 6 months old and a year and a half old. Congrats on not paying full price for old games. Only crap games are free day 1. The highly coveted Triple A games are always gonna be $60 bucks on release.

PS+ has Arkham Knight and Darksiders 3 free in September. That's a pretty good month for them. I don't care about playing a game the second its released. I have a backlog anyway.

Nice, I’ll definitely check out Arkham Knight, I played Arkham Asylum a ton. PS+ always has solid choices. I don’t buy a ton of games Day 1 anymore. Maybe 4 a year tops.

Beating this game on hardcore mode is probably my greatest accomplishment in games the last 5 years.
It’s also a pain in the arse.
I can’t tell you how many times I got lost in some random fricking woods with no clue where to go.
And infricking choose the “wake up in random places.”
Omg, I’d wake up and get killed and get lost.
