Whatever, when was the last time you heard a billion, or even trillion, dollar company turn down money?

Sony does it all the time with their exclusives

It's all because Sony pays them. Nothing more.

That isn't close to the truth. Why would a small Japanese company make a game that Japanese people can not play. That's insane. There's little market for these games, so it historically wasn't worth the cost to port them over. With the architectures being so similar, you see far more multiplats than you did before. Sony's spending is focused on big Western things, not on a lot of Japanese things.

FF16 is a rare case of that happening, but it's surprising. If you want to play Japanese RPGs, you buy Playstation. That's how it goes.

Yes it is. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Sony pays top dollar for third party exclusives. It's not like it's some big secret.

Elder Scrolls as a console exclusive is a console seller. Fallout will likely be for a few as well. If Microsoft truly doesn’t need to make it cross-plat in order to get their investment back then I’m not sure why they would...I wouldn’t as long as I felt there was a benefit.

I’m for team Sony at the moment and I have no issue with the move or statement. I only hope Sony looks at it and goes hummm...what’s our next move. I’d say open world bloodborne called Elder Trolls.

Yeah. There is potential there. They can do something and they should. We will see.

Well, if Fallout 76 is indicative of the future direction of Bethesda products, i certainly won’t be upset if Microsoft decides to keep them exclusively on the XBox.

Can you imagine if the PS5 and 6 don't have Skyrim?

The 20 year old game that while ahead of it's time doesn't seem to have evolved much since then? No.... couldn't fathom not having that

76 was an experiment that wasn't even done by their main studio. So no, I don't think it's accurate to assume that game is indicative of what we'll get from Bethesda going forward.

The MGS games were PS exclusives for a long time until they had that MGS1 remake on Gamecube. I don't think any of them have appeared on Xbox.

Kingdom Hearts was a PlayStation exclusive for a long time. Until the Xbone, at least. Both KH1 and 2 were PS2 only.

Sony also had MLB the Show, but the MLB rights are not exclusive. Microsoft has had the ability to make one for years, but after EA stopped MVP baseball no other dev picked it up.

The Show is also coming to Xbox.

Sony was kicking around acquiring Take Two not long ago, they squashed it a while back but that could be in the cards now, that would be massive.
