Just got my first solo win a few days ago. I played it slow and only killed 5 people. I stay just within the circle, laid low, and only engaged and killed the people that I absolutely had to. Wound up in a 1v1v1 and won the last two gunfights.
The last 1v1 was wild though. I was on the ground and launched 20 something grenades from the launcher to destroy the other guy's tower. He started launching rockets at me from the ground and I just jumped around and hit him with my assault rifle to get the win.

Max shield and health consumable*
Considering it takes 15 seconds to consume I don’t think it will be much of an issue. I think that’s the same time it would take to consume 2 big shields and a medkit.

I could be wrong but isn't is less than the kit and 2 shield? Each shield is 5 and medkit 10 right?

It is legendary so it should not be a big deal. You will mainly run across them in air drops.

it will definitely be a niche item, just will be annoying in squads. Already so many people running around with 200 HP.

i can either
A) 1v4v4
B) wait for superior squad to finish off the inferior squad and engage them, possible 1v4
C) thin the herd when I can and try to reduce the amount of surviving squadmembers I have to fight
hmm.... really tough choice there

It’s funny because you said you played solo squads to hone your multi player encounters and then immediately described a scenario where you hid until the last two people were weak and healing.
