I really enjoyed the Skirmish last week. The format was Duos:
4pts for a Win
2pts for 5+ Eliminations.
First to 13 points win, and the tournament went a full 10 matches.
$6500 for team with most eliminations in the match.
While there was still some camping going on, it provided for an exciting tournament. I watched all Ten matches.
Granted this was a pro tournament, so there were a lot of teams that didn't even score with the 5+ eliminations format.
I like your format if its for semi-pro and casual entrants though.

I was going off of last weeks. I think the beginning and mid game could have used a big pick up. The aggressive kills can be a side of the game that could be a strategy instead of going for the win. It's a combo of Friday Fortnite and Summer Skirmish.
It's like, is it more exciting the person going tilted and get 20 kills in the match but loses or a person camping the whole game and gets 2 kills for the win. Who is more entertaining to watch and showed more skill? One is way more entertaining but both require skill with high level players.
High kills = player skill
Wins = Strategy with a little player skill

I think that's a balance that Epic is still trying to figure out. A lot of the players that usually have high kill games on their stream seemed to struggle with last weeks format, for example Tfue. I'm glad to see Epic changing it every week, and I'm sure they'll find that balance soon.

Question about a experience gained. If you are playing 50 vs 50 squad match and die then quit the game. Do you get experience if your team wins after you leave? Or do you have to wait and watch your team win?

I believe the XP is still added after you leave and your team wins.

Has anyone played on the Switch?
I've been playing on PS4 since last September/October and I'm just ok at the game. I can build well but my shooting has always been off. I just can't hit people sometimes. And lately been playing cross play with a friend on PC and when I play with him I'm not much help most of the time.
I decided to play on my Switch and its the complete opposite. I won 6 games out of about 12. I hardly miss shots, can hit headshots very easily. I have no fear of other players running up on me and wiping me out.
I know its on the Switch so the overall skill of players is much lower. But my Aim is what has me surprised. I went back to PS4 and the controls feel very unresponsive compared to the Switch. It feels like there is a half a second delay from what I'm hitting on the controller and what I see on the screen.
Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced the same and if there is a reason why I'm much worse on PS4.

Do you play on a monitor or a giant TV?
Your particular TV may have a worse than average input lag.

went on a tear today and got the last 3 kills after a boring 50v50 match. i got in a 3 on 1 situation and bum rushed them with a launcher and the new SMG and dropped all 3 of them in about 5 seconds.
not a brag post because i suck, but does you placed 1 of 97 mean you had the best stats of the match, or does everybody winning get that?

The reason you're doing well on the Switch is that everybody on there is new. When I play on the Switch it's like easy mode. People hardly build at all. It's like playing on PS4 months ago before everyone was a master builder. I think over time the Switch players will catch up. It's fun though. I enjoy hopping on and getting a win

And I think the aim assist is more prevalent on the Switch or at least it seems like it.

I do play on a 60" Samsung TV. Is there a way to test that or fix?
I was thinking big TV could be issue bc I find myself in so much more control on the Switch. On PS4 and big TV I get lost in battles some time and lose track of where people are.

LOL Yes, I'm well aware of that. I have to take each win with a grain of salt but damn it feels so good to be one of the best players for once. So tired of getting destroyed on PS4.
But the one thing I don't understand is why I can shoot so well and always be aware of where people are and just in more control. Playing the PS4 now I can just feel how different the game is. There has to be a away for it to feel similar to the Switch.

I just think a lot more people camp and play passive on the Switch. At least that's what I've seen. On PS4 you'll usually run into someone sooner than later. The other day on Switch I went all over the map looking for people, didn't see anyone and 8 of us ended up in the final circle
