I think it will be. It's going to build on already amazing caracters also let you explore new areas as well from my understanding as well as new boss fights obviously.

There's is going to be an episode for each character in the main party making them playable and also opening up now more parts of the world. They both are also having limited events and items in dlc. After all the episodes they are adding some type of multiplayer mode.

I say it's worth it. This is one of the best games I've played this gen. I'm a huge FF fan though.

Please tell me that all of these secret door dungeons don't all follow the same template: a series of caverns.

The first two have been identical.

Making me play the same goddamn dungeon 8 times in a row is an uninspired lazy design choice.

This is painfully boring.

I legitimately don't see myself completing this drab arse dungeon 8 times in a row.

Are those related to the royal arms? I saw one door I couldn't get past in one of the dungeons.

Im in chapter 3 at level 21 and have racked up 20,000 exp. I plan on paying the 10,000 Gil at galdin quay for the 2x exp to jump several levels. What's the most y'all have accumulated before cashing in? I originally planned on cashing in at 20,000 but may just go for as long as possible

28 hours in and still in chapter 3 lol. I'm using a guide though and am covering every single side quest before I advance...and there's a lot of them

Yeah, you get a key for the sealed doors after you complete all the open world dungeons.

There are some rare weapons and unique enemies down there. So far it's been a reskinned flan and ninja warrior as the end bosses.

It'd be nice if there was some variation in the environments but endless series of monotonous caves is what we got. Endless options to choose from for the developers and we get low rent spelunky.

I was at level 66 and accumulated just over 300k and turned it in to the 3x hotel in Altissa.

Flight mechanic is absolute crap in this game the car shouldn't be a total pain in the arse to land like it is.

I feel like a retard asking this question but how the frick do you fish? I cast, the fish bites, the screen shows which way I am suppose to move left stick and the fricking fish gets off. What am I doing wrong

I actually had problems at first too. If your control is vibrating don't real in at all, just move the analog stick the way it says. Don't reel until your control isn't vibrating at all. If it's vibrating and you reel then it wears down your line's strength.

It doesn't really matter if it's a small fish, but the big ones you have to cautious with reeling.

Sounds like the same problem I had. Read somewhere that any extra controller or peripheral would cause this problem. I had a guitar hero dongle connected and it wouldn't recognize my controller input during that sequence. Once I disconnected it, I was able to set the hook normally.

I agree Scrowe; makes me not even want to fly it at all.. only time I have was when I HAD to to go to Pitioss dungeon.

Sidenote: I've finished all the "Menace sleeps.." dungeons except for Costlemark.. not being able to use items turned out to be a real bitch. Think I'm gonna try Adamantoise when I get some free time.

The last 3 menace dungeons have at least I've that are not caverns but they are the same layout just take on the texture of the dungeon.
