X-2 gets some attention. I'm shocked. Feels like they tried to forget the game was even made.

I liked it fwiw

I was debating on trading mine for a PSVR again, i want that back but this is good news.

I never finished XII and we get the Zodiac Age, well worth it.

I love the swtich there's just not enough on it for me to be hyped all the time. I haven't played smash since I became a dad and i put 300 hours into BoTW and got all the moons in Odyssey.

I wish they would confirm the Metroid Prime trilogy port and more about Prime 4 soon.

All the upcoming games i want (Luigi's Mansion, MP4, Yoshi, Mario Make[rumor]) don't even have release dates.

FF XII will be a nice addition.

The gameplay in X-2 was great, the story was terrible. If you skip as many cut scenes as you can, the game will be much more enjoyable.

I'm looking forward to replaying XII. Loved the combat system.

I'll get XII and X-2 if I can buy it separately. Finished X on Vita.

I never played that one. Was that online only?

Well it has gotten just as much attention as X? It was part of the HD remaster.

I loved 10 when I was younger but never got to finish it. I may consider picking that up

XI and XIV are the online games. XII is a single player RPG.

Somehow I completely missed that one

Wonder if they'll sell it as a bundle or if you have to buy each game individually? I haven't completed any of them.

it will be
X and X-2 as one bundle and then 12 stand alone. just like ps4. unless they do it different for switch. but Amazon has it like that

I know that this is an extremely unpopular opinion but I could never get into X. I enjoyed X-2 much more.

I also think that 7 is, at best, the 3rd best in the series, behind 9 and 6, so take my Final Fantasy opinion for what it is worth - nothing.

As did I, although it was overall not near the story of X... that is, unless you devoted the time to attaining 100% completion, in which case the ending was memorable and gratifying. Actual closure, so to speak.

The best part of X over X2 was the sphere grid. I had all 7 party members stats at 255, and they all knew all abilities. Aeons stats could also be maxed through a lot of work, but aeons became useless after your party was uber.

The best part of X2 was the active battle system and the challenges it presented. Of course, after the mascot dressphere was obtained and maxed, no battle was impossible with patience and proper timing.

Overall, both really good games if you have/had the patience to invest the time into development of characters.

Played like 1 minute of x-2 about 10 years ago and hated it. Might be different now.

Hoping Octopath Traveler did wonders SE’s faith in the switch.
