Zalera! one of our own was lost to Covid-19 and the FC Figaro National Guard has humbly asked the server to join them in game this saturday at 3pm PST for a funeral march from Uldah to the Guardian Tree in the shroud (this event page is to serve as a event reminder for saturday) were no longer the small server we once were but nows the time to show up and show out for a fallen Zalera player.

Zalera is the name of the world (server) the play on.

Really cool and touching to see.

Witnessed something like this on Exodus maybe a year or so back. Very Cool.

I went to somebody’s wedding in the game one time. Was weird as hell.

One of the few weddings where both parties remained untouched virgins long afterwards.

One of the Benghazi victims was an EvE player that had a memorial service online and the game maker renamed entire outpost systems in his honor.

Didn’t know about the Benghazi tie in with EVE. Sounds like he was hardcore into it. (Which I would be too if I was stuck in Libya)

I was active in EvE at the time. Sean was only in Libya as he was assigned to the Diplomat as security. He traveled all over the world with him and Libya was just the wrong time, wrong place, wrong illegal State Dept. weapons deal. Mittens (GoonSwarm Leader) was literally on the phone with him when the attack started and could hear the gunfire start. Sad times.

But yeah Sean was an officer in Goons and was keeping abreast of all their stuff while traveling. Semi hardcore gamer as life would allow.

The world of warcraft one I've seen turned out to be a blood bath. Apparently this type of thing is not smart to organize on a PVP server.
